About us
Mercy Welfare Trust is a UK-registered charity (Charity No. 1147907) dedicated to helping the poor and needy since 2011.
Our mission is to provide essential support to vulnerable communities through food distribution, healthcare, education, and emergency relief. With a focus on compassion and transparency, we work in some of the world’s most impoverished regions to bring hope, dignity, and lasting change to those who need it most.

Our Projects
Here are some campaigns we are currently running

Ahlul Bayth Fund
As Syed families cannot receive zakat or regular sadaqah, we’ve established a dedicated Ahlul Bayt Fund to support them in times of extreme hardship. This is a unique opportunity to honour and uplift the descendants of the Prophet ﷺ.

Counselling and Psychotherapy
At some point, almost everyone faces challenges that can weigh heavily on their mental and emotional well-being. Whether it’s the pressures of work, family, or relationships, or more personal struggles like anxiety, depression, or grief, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed.
Ramadan 2025
Mercy Welfare Trust is distributing essential food parcels to some of the poorest families in Pakistan, ensuring they too can experience the blessings of this holy month. Join us in spreading mercy, nourishment, and hope this Ramadan.
In addition, this Ramadan, Mercy Welfare Trust is honoured to provide Iftar for around 100 people over 3 days inside the sacred Masjid of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in Madinah. As millions gather to break their fast in the Haram, your support helps us be part of this incredible act of devotion.
Zakat & Sadaqah
At Mercy Welfare Trust, we guarantee that 100% of your Zakat and Sadaqah reaches those in need without any deductions.
Our admin costs are covered separately through Gift Aid and general donations. Your support helps us deliver aid efficiently and transparently. With your continued trust, we’re able to make a real difference where it’s needed most.
